American Bulldog Rescue has been functional since February 2008. We are now part of Bullies In Need, although we do still work in the main independently, but many of the volunteers do so for both sides.

Before you fill in an application to adopt one of our dogs please make sure you have done your homework and know just what taking on an American Bulldog entails. Not everyone is suited to look after such a large active breed. Many of the dogs we rehome are not good with other dogs, especially ones of the same sex.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us in our work, we need foster homes, homecheckers, fund raisers etc. If you can help please e-mail me

We try to spay and neuter dogs before they leave our care, but to do that we need funds to cover the costs, all donations are appreciated.    At the moment we are paying £30 per day kennel fees.
